Following the death of a prominent American sculptor, a WSG archivist was invited to inventory the artist’s working drawings, maquettes and personal papers in preparation for appraisal and establishment of a foundation in the artist’s name.
The estate of an esteemed scientist with a professional interest in supporting off-Broadway theater employed the trained eye of a WSG archivist to identify and process his personal papers held in his Manhattan townhouse. Materials in his collection were processed and presented to selected repositories interested in acquiring materials in his collection.
